Halter fixings

With a larger 6.0mm thread diameter for improved pull-out values, our halter range in Stainless Steel is designed for fixing halter brackets and clips to light steel or timber.

Where can I use these fixings?

Fixing to timber

Our reduced diameter drill point on our DF2 range provides increased pull-out values into light steel and timber – available in Stainless Steel A2/304, or A4/316

Fixing to light steel

Our DF3 halter range is designed specially for fastening clips and halter brackets to steel purlins and rails up to 3mm thick

Drill Points

Our unique drill point geometry means our range for halter brackets can cover steel thicknesses from 1.2 – 3mm steel. Optimised steel hardness eliminates failures, giving you a clean, fast drill every time.

DF2 range – for fixing 0.7mm - 2mm steel and timber

DF3 range – fixing 1.2mm - 3mm steel

Steel Grades

Stainless Steel A2/304

Our A2/304 Stainless Steel fasteners provide excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for use in medium risk corrosivity environments, or on projects using Aluminium sheeting or components.

Stainless Steel A4/316

A4/316 Stainless Steel is a super-austenitic alloy containing high levels of molybdenum, nitrogen and nickel – ensuring it is highly resistant to corrosion, tarnishing and stress.
