Blending in to help you stand out
Colour matching from Fixfast
Lacquered fasteners
Electro-powder coated with a high-grade polyester powder, this coating provides a safe, durable, and suitable colour match finish to blend in with the panel once installed. The electrostatic coating process also prevents the head filling with paint and affecting the drivability of the fastener.
Rest assured our fasteners:
Are available lacquered to gloss, semi-gloss, and a range of matt finishes
Can be matched to a range of BS, RAL (classic and design), Interpon, Tiger Drylac, Analok, and a variety of other colour brands
Can be colour matched and lacquered by request

How does the powder coating process work?
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder to metal materials. The powder is applied to the fastener heads using an electrostatic gun. The gun imparts a positive charge to the powder, which is then applied to the fastener by compressed air spraying, and therefore accelerated to the fasteners by the electrostatic charge.
Once an even coating has been applied, the fasteners are heated, which causes the powder to melt into a uniform film. As the fasteners are cooled, this then hardens into a hard, durable coating: capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions and contributing to the longevity of the building.
The powder we use at Fixfast is architectural grade and complies with BS EN 12206*.
