Who are UKAS and what do they do?

UKAS is the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom. They are appointed by government, to assess and accredit organisations that provide services including certification, testing, inspection, calibration, validation and verification.

Fixfast are proud to hold UKAS Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for our Laboratory, covering a range of testing activities including dimensional and product performance testing. ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for laboratory operations. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 gives independently backed confirmation of the validity and quality of testing performed in our laboratory.
