The Riverside Resource Recovery Facility is the largest project of its kind in the UK.

Waste from Central London is brought in by barge along the River Thames as well as by road - the creation of this pioneering facility is expected to make a significant contribution to London’s landfill diversion targets.

The building’s design demonstrates the trend away from the bleak industrial structures of the past towards aesthetically pleasing buildings that complement the local environment.

We assisted with the creation of the distinctive “swoosh” by providing unique powder-coated rivets to fix the curved and coloured panels to the face of the composite skin.

“Fixfast – all good.”
