Description
The DuoDrain is a specialist rainwater outlet that can provide a seal both at the VCL and rooftop level. The 'PF' (plain flange) version features a metal flange at VCL level with a variety of membranes at rooftop level. Please see the SBS version if you are using a bitumen VCL.
Installation
- Select the correct size of outlet to suit the size of downpipe.
- Select the correct membrane flange on both the lower and upper outlets.
- Insert the lower outlet through the AVCL and structural deck.
- Fix outlet to the deck through the pre-drilled holes in the metal flange.
- Bond the AVCL to the flange of the lower outlet.
- Connect downpipe to the spigot of the lower outlet.
- Install insulation.
- Cut hole through the insulation to suit the spigot of the upper outlet.
- Insert upper outlet through the roof membrane and through the hole in the insulation and push the upper outlet into the lower outlet until the upper unit is touching the insulation.
- Bond the membrane flange of the outlet to the roof membrane.
