The Handball Arena in the Olympic Park in the centre of London is an iconic landmark - designed and built to host the handball events at the London Olympics in 2012, it now is a completely flexible arena which hosts a range of different sports and training events.

Main contractor Buckingham Group enlisted IRC Carocelle to carry out the roof works and IRC Carocelle turned to us to supply a complete fixing package for this - our tube washer and fastener combinations enabled the use of panels which achieved the specified insulation levels.

We also had the needed solution for the external facade - thousands of ‘shingle cleats’ were used to hang the 3000 sqm of specially manufactured copper panels.

“Fixfast maintained a high level of quality throughout the build, minimising site wastage and ensuring continuity of work for the site team.”
