A welcoming team
“Hello, I’m Ken. As I’m the youngest of our Founder’s sons, Fixfast has always been part my life. Fortunately, only a few of the longest serving team members would remember me coming in during school holidays!
I joined the team officially in 1995. I spent the first 8 years in the operational side and then moved into the sales and customer service team. Since 2011 I have been involved in general management.
These days my main focus is on strategically aligning the aims of the business with the needs of our customers. Part of that is about getting to know our people really well and uniting them to make progress – after all, one of our main values is collaboration.
If you think you can add to the collaborative atmosphere, then we’d like to hear from you.”

Want to learn something new? With Fixfast, you can. We continuously encourage and challenge the team to take part in a variety of professional development programmes, training courses and seminars that support their professional and personal growth. Part of our approach and culture is ‘becoming better’ and learning is a key part of it.
We also have our own in-house industry training – so you can learn about our products and the industry right from the moment you join us.
Career Development Plan
Want to build your career? We’ll help you build a personalised career development plan to help you get there.
Support
To ensure you are successful at work, you’ll get regular one-to-one discussions with your line manager about your progress. At Fixfast, we emphasise that the people we have are at the heart of the business.
Personality testing
We use PRISM Neuroscience to help evaluate how you prefer to work and share this with your line manager.
Competitive salary
Do we need to say more?
Annual company bonus
A nice little perk for your pocket.
Travel allowance or company vehicle
This is offered exclusively to certain roles and your offer of employment will confirm whether this is included. It means you can get to work without burning a hole in your pocket.
Free lunch
Our favourite! We have a stocked kitchen for staff to use and regular twice-weekly deliveries from a local catering company. Where you take your pick from a range of tasty sandwiches, hot food, fruit, and salads. If you have dietary requirement, we’ll even take care of that – no one goes without a good lunch.
Flexible working
Start and finish at a time that suits you and your schedule. We work on a system of trust – our working hours are flexible, ensuring that both yours and the business needs are being met. Of course, for a few roles, hours are fixed for shift work so we can keep the business going.
Private healthcare
We want you to feel healthy and supported, that’s why we provide private healthcare cover for you and your family. This is granted after successful completion of your probation period.
Annual Health Checks
We all need a little looking after and a little help to reach our health goals. Our annual health checks are carried out by independent Occupational Health Practitioners and will help give you guidance on a range of issues, from heart health to healthy eating (and more).
Woodland Headquarters
Getting outside is good for our wellbeing. We’re lucky enough to be in a woodland location with woodland walks nearby where you can spot local wildlife – everything from deer to falcons. Get outside on your lunchbreak or grab a colleague and go for a wander… We even do organised lunchtime walks for those of you who would like an organised group to walk with.
Mental Health First Aider Support
Mental Health is never something to be overlooked, and at Fixfast, we have trained mental health first aiders to ensure you feel supported. Everything you say is in 100% confidence and you’ll be given the help and guidance you need.
Confidential Employee Adviceline
In case you have a need for some advice, whether that’s on X or X (or anything else that’s worrying you), we have a confidential employee adviceline where you can get impartial advice from a trained councillor. The Employee Adviceline is also available to our employees' family members.
