Rivets

Our range of high-quality blind rivets are specifically designed for use in roofing, cladding and façade applications.

Complementing our structural fasteners, these rivets are suitable for use in a wide range of applications, particularly for joining together thin gauge materials.

Manufactured from aluminium, carbon or stainless steel – including colour-matched lacquered rivets to suit any design aesthetic.

Blind

Our standard blind rivets come in a variety of sizes, including our multi-range rivets to fasten various thicknesses.

Countersunk

Creating a completely flush finish once installed, our countersunk rivets colour-matched make these perfect for non-structural applications where the fastening needs to be imperceptible.

Large flange

Large 15.5mm diameter flange for applications where an oversized hole is drilled to allow for expansion & contraction of the material.

Sealed head

Domed aluminium body with mandrel retained in body after setting prevents water seeping through the rivet. Also available with washers for an extra secure seal.

Tri-grip

The slotted body of these rivets spreads (once installed), to form a three-pronged bearing surface – resulting in a greater clamping force than standard rivets. Also available with washers for a watertight seal.

Product specification

Rivets are a small but vital part of any building envelope construction, and choosing the correct type is imperative. It is important to consider both the materials and rivet type when specifying rivets for your roofing, cladding and rainscreen projects.

Rivet material Product code affix Key features
Carbon steel body / carbon steel mandrel CC Zinc plated carbon steel is suitable for use on projects where corrosivity won’t be an issue including internal and external applications in non-corrosive, non-coastal environments such as rural and urban locations.
Aluminium body / carbon steel mandrel AC A dependable general purpose material combination suitable for a wide variety of applications. However, the mandrel is left within the body and could rust over time – so these rivets should be used in environments where corrosion won’t be an issue, or as part of applications where it won’t cause staining to cladding, roofing or façade materials.
Aluminium body / stainless steel mandrel AS Providing high levels of corrosion resistance due to the stainless steel, while maintaining flexibility within the aluminium body to deliver a good grip range variation.
Stainless steel body / stainless steel mandrel SS A2/304 grade stainless steel rivets are suitable for use in environments classified as C3 for corrosivity under BS EN 9223:2012, such as medium risk urban and industrial projects in inland locations. Certain rivets are also available in A4/316 grade stainless steel.
Aluminium body / aluminium mandrel AA Used in our Tri-grip range, allowing the body to split to create an evenly spread clamping force – perfect for securing fragile materials without damage.
