As the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to develop across the world, our thoughts are with those and their families who are affected.

The Team at Fixfast are working together to remain vigilant and follow the NHS and WHO (World Health Organisation) advice on how to help prevent the spread of the virus.


We also follow the daily government bulletins and act accordingly within the business to abide by the latest guidance. Monday's address brought further restrictions on business and leisure activities which required immediate action.

As a result, we have moved the remaining Fixfast staff out of the building and they are now where possible working remotely.

With confirmation that building sites are to remain open for the time being it is imperative however, that we continue to support those who are still working to improve the infrastructure of our country.

Those few who remain in the business are those responsible for the logistics of distributing product to site. These workers are being protected the best we can by increasing our cleaning schedule and distancing their workspaces. Additionally we are working to support them the best we can using the recommended guidance and recommending self-isolation for those as greater risk.

We will continue to follow guidelines as they are published to help protect the health of our staff and the community.

Stock holding and supply chain

Fixfast routinely hold significant stocks of most product lines within the UK. Additional steps were taken in preparation of the UK’s departure from the EU. This has resulted in even greater current stock supplies than usual.

This has provided us with additional resilience at this time and is enabling us to continue to supply our customers.

At present our in-house production facilities are unaffected and are working to usual capacity.

This understandably may change over the coming weeks and months but we’ll maintain this page to include products that may become difficult to supply as the situation arises.

Protecting our customers

At this time, we have suspended face to face visits by our account managers. This is in response to government advice on social distancing.

To enable us to continue to service our customers we have implemented the following:


  • Video meetings
  • The provision of digital phones so our team can be contacted on their usual numbers and extensions

Protecting our staff

To reduce the risk of a member of our team contracting the virus we have implemented the following policies:


  • Implemented a work from home policy for all office staff, those over the age of 70 and those with medical conditions
  • No international travel for business purposes
  • Essential use of public transport only
  • Cancelled all face to face visits
  • Only essential site visits will take place and providing adequate protection is in place
  • Provision of hand sanitisers and additional hygiene products for our staff and visitors
  • Increased the companies cleaning schedule
  • No handshakes or unnecessary physical contact whilst at work
  • Immediate quarantine following any symptoms of COVID-19 or contact with anyone to has contracted the virus.
